for the love of.......

Dogs

I just got my Dean Koontz newsletter and just found out that my Favorite celebrity dog died, back in June. Oh I cried and cried. I loved Trixie!! Poor Mr. Koontz, he loved that dog. Funny thing was I just bought “life is good” trixies first book, for a friend’s birthday. And every time I would read the last page I choke up. The last page of Trixies book, she is laying on her back on leg straight toward heaven. The captions says something about lying in the grass and maybe God will give belly rub.
Now I cry just thinking about it.
I have a “framed” (lol) response from a letter I sent DK; signed by Trixie I am so glad I have that! I am glad she is getting belly rubs from God. (Well I know there is absolutely no biblical truth for this idea, but it makes me feel better)

Today I wrote this when I should have been working, a little off task I must say.
If my dog wrote a personal add:
Hairy, strong, playful, neutered male enjoy long walks (off leash) likes Rolling in deer poop. Looking for, fast runner with good jaw to play tug of war with.

Thankfulness

Thankfulness
Thank you Jesus, I love where I live, my kid’s school and there teachers. Thank you lord for my sister who I love beyond reason. Thank you for my mom and my sibling who all treat me with kindness and affection. Thank you lord that my husband is always bringing some excitement into our home, with drum sets or tomatoes plants or puppy dogs. Thank you lord I can actually get warm in the winter now. Thank you lord for the season, I love snow, and wind and thunderstorms. Thank you for my church and my Christian friends, for the “Shepards” in my life. Thank you for weekends, and plans falling into place. Thank you for pumpkin bread, and teenage daughters. Thank you for giving me hope, and teaching me and everyday renewing me. Thank you Lord that there is no place else to go, that you have words of life.
