burn BEFORE reading?

I forced myself to read my journals from when i was like 19 to 21
I was a mess. a mess! it's embarrassing to read. BUT the neat thing that stands out is how FAITHFUL God is to me. my journals are really like prayer journals, and mostly I was in a "state" when I would write in them. lots of heart cry for my Jesus to grow me up, help me cope, bring me closer to Him, forgive me, and give me self control. help me. He has been faithful. not that i have arrived or anything ( as my family says humm ahdoy ) but let me tell you Jesus has healed me from so much. i noticed some direct answers to prayers - God has given me a firm walk in Him, He has kept me married,I am raising my children in Him,I have friends to love,I don't have shame from guilt, and i have tons more self control then i did.
Praise be to God. I guess i won't burn the journals ( that was my original thought before reading) because they bring glory to God.

New Years Prayer

Dear Lord,

This is a new New Year it’s going to full of New Things.
My girls are going to Canada for travel study for over two weeks in April ,please keep them safe and healthy. Then they will start High School is September, father guard their hearts, keep them close to you. In December they can get driving permits, Lord, keep them safe and alive!
I hope to as always keep exercising my butt off and eating better is always the goal Lord, give me discipline! Even if the economy does not get better, I’d like to whittle my self more out of debt. I really want to be a better steward of money, I’d love to make bible reading a habit, as I want more of you and less of the world. I want to move to a bigger place, I am praying you make the way possible; give me patients while I wait. Making new friends sound really nice, but teach me to love the ones I already have. I hope to pick up some of my old hobbies and be less unmotivated (lazy) that would be really awesome! I want a Wii and a laptop, BUT I need patients, a gentle sprit, and wisdom more.

I miss you blog, but I have been spending my time with a new friend, facebook.
Facebook has a lot more to offer, lots of instant gratification. We can still be friends, always remember you’re great! It’s me not you.

• Why at the office vending machine do I always push the wrong number and get like life savers when I want potato chips?

• Is it just me are can you see things winding up, for a one world government?

• Do brides still do the “something old, something new, something barrowed something blue”?

• Billy Graham is 89, is that punishment or a privilege?

• Bear on the TV show, “Man vs. Wild” always eats something that is still alive and takes off his clothes. I have decided he really is just a big 4 year old boy.

• In last few weeks I have noticed more “nobody” presidential supports are speaking up

• Is it REALLY that had for starbucks to make my coffee a decaffeinated?

• I really do love middle school age kids … …Am I warped?
