Amish friendless bread.

•I never have been popular enough to get a ziplock bag of Amish Friendship bread starter.
•Do Amish pass around Amish friendship bread started like Christian church ladies do
•Did the Amish really start it?

Not only am I not popular enough to get it, I wouldn't know what to do with it if I did. Actually, I'd never heard about it till I read your blog, so really, I didn't know how unpopular I am. Hmm. Thanks Maria, I'm feeling all sorts of love now:)

Hi Mia,
I now feel like a total heel that two of my favorite friends (Okay, my only friends. Shut up.) either have never heard of it or have never received it. You can make it a few different ways and in different flavors like vanilla, butterscotch, chocolate, cinnamon, shrimp gumbo...My mom makes it all the time & might still have a starter. I will investigate!
